How to configure your storefront branding

The parent-facing storefront is your studio's most-visited surface — every magic link a parent clicks lands them there. This guide walks through configuring logo, colors, About, fonts, and hero photos so the storefront feels like your studio rather than a platform default.

  1. 1.Pick your storefront URL

In Settings → Storefront URL, choose your subdomain (e.g. acmephotos.prophotosystems.com). This is the URL parents land on when they click magic links you send. You can change it later but it's less disruptive to pick well up front. If you want a custom domain (acmephotos.com), set up the subdomain first — the custom domain layers on top.

  2. 2.Upload your logo

In Settings → Branding, upload your logo. PPS accepts PNG, JPG, or SVG. Recommended size: at least 400px wide for the header treatment. PPS auto-fits to mobile and desktop layouts. If your logo has a transparent background, use PNG or SVG; transparent backgrounds adapt better across light and dark headers.

  3. 3.Set your brand colors

Settings → Branding → Colors lets you set a primary color (used for buttons, links, and accent highlights) and an optional secondary color. Use the brand color you use everywhere else; PPS auto-generates hover and active states. Color picker accepts hex (#5E35B1), RGB, or HSL.

  4. 4.Write your About section

Settings → Branding → About is the studio bio that appears on your storefront under "About this studio." 2-3 paragraphs is typical: who you are, what you photograph, why families choose you. This text is parent-facing — write for parents, not photographers. Plain text or markdown supported.

  5. 5.Upload storefront photos (optional)

Settings → Branding → Storefront Photos lets you add 3-6 hero images that rotate at the top of your storefront. Use your best work — typically a mix of school portraits, sports team photos, dance recital shots. Recommended 1600×900 (16:9) at 200-500 KB each. These appear above the photo selection grid.

  6. 6.Configure typography (optional)

Settings → Branding → Typography lets you pick a heading font and a body font from Google Fonts. Defaults are Manrope (heading) + Inter (body) — clean and high-legibility. Override only if you have a strong brand font (e.g. a script font for senior portrait studios).

  7. 7.Preview before going live

Settings → Branding → Preview opens your storefront in a new tab using sample data so you can see exactly what parents will see, with your logo + colors + photos applied. Iterate on the brand settings until the preview looks right before sending out the first real magic link.
